When did you realize you were going to work with this:
I’ve always painted, since I was a child, only that one day somebody started to pay me for it.

If you could choose one place to live, where would it be and why?
I think someday I would like to live in Hawaii, I think it’s the closest thing to the idea of paradise.

How would you describe your design:
My job is Pop, is surreal, is poetic, is humorous, mysterious, colorful and full of energy.

How and when did you start working with it in a serious way?
Took roughly 20 years doing exhibitions and working as an illustrator.

What do you do at the moment?
Right now I’m preparing several exhibitions with an animation series of cartoons.

A recommendation for those who think about starting and running a creative business?
Being hardworking and very consistent. No stagnate and evolve. And learn to disconnect.

Tell us how it all began.
When I finished studying I started to work with restoring listed buildings. At the same time I began to make my first exhibitions as a painter and my first jobs as an illustrator. When I saved a little money I was slowly leaving my job as a restorer to fully devote myself to my art.

What is most important in a place of work/study for you?
Having good light and have space to move and work on several projects simultaneously.

What is your favorite movie?
Do not know if I could say I have a favorite movie of all time, I love film and many types of different movies, but now comes to mind the movie “ET”.

Who would like to invite to dinner and why?
Woody Allen. I think he’s a genius.

How do you like to spoil yourself?
More every day.

What is a luxury for you?
Able to devote myself to my passion.

What is the best compliment you have received for your design, and from whom?
With social networks every day I get good energy from the people.

What are you most afraid of?
Lose hope, demotivation, apathy.

What is a happy life for you?
I am happy with my life right now. I have a couple of people who love me and a job that I like. I feel happy.

What is a typical day looks like you?
I wake up early for doing yoga and then I go to work at my studio.

When I don’t have commissions as an illustrator I am working on my paintings.

Tell us about your dream project.
I have many dreams. I would like to start working with big size paintings and work with good galleries. I would also like to make movies someday.

Who is your favorite designer?
I like many illustrators and many painters. It seems unfair to name just one.

How would you describe your style?
Mutant, active, evolving.

What is the one thing you cannot live without?
Without my partner.

What inspires you?
Life.

A book that has changed/made the most impression on you?
All the books I’ve read have helped me to know myself better and better understand the world in which I live.
