Briar Cliff University’s Media Communication Program was ranked 17th in the nation by the licensing center. The Bachelor Center is an organization that aims to help students find the educational programs that are best for them by evaluating the financial and educational aspects of colleges and universities against the individual needs of students.

To create these rankings, the Baccalaureate Center researched on-campus digital communication programs from accredited and reputable institutions. Using data from IPEDS (Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System) and Niche (an online database with profiles and reviews of schools across America), the Bachelor Degree Center has ranked the best digital communication programs in the country.

Michael Crowley, department manager at Briar Cliff, said the award was a great reflection for everyone involved in the program.

“I am very happy for our alumni, our professors – current and past – and our current students,” Crowley said. “We have received this recognition because we do what we say we do here.”

The licensing center has listed access to industry standard technology and software, excellent courses, and faculty members who work in the industry they teach as attributes that make Briar’s media communications program. Cliff one of the best in the country.

“As much as we work really hard here, we have fun too. It’s great that you can see a balance between these things and that people recognize you for your hard work, ”said Julie Knowles.

Crowley thanked everyone from athletic program coaches to President Dr Rachelle Karstens for contributing to the Briar Cliff National Rankings.
