Could the Revolution seek to take a step forward during the secondary transfer window?

Revolution fans tuned in to this week’s edition of ‘Coffee with the Coach’ were delighted to hear athletic director and head coach Bruce Arena discuss interesting topics while getting information on the moves. potential in the next transfer window.

After discussing what he expects from her team on their next road trip against Atlanta United, Elizabeth Pehota spoke about the secondary transfer window that opened on July 7 and ends on August 5. Pehota put Arena in the spotlight by asking the Revolutionary coach if he suspected any roster moves during the transfer window.

Arena would continue to drop a bombshell on movement potential in the weeks to come. When asked if roster changes were likely, Arena said, “There’s a chance that will happen.” Bruce would add by saying that the Revs “watched the players”. before the opening of the transfer window.

It looks like one player caught the attention of Arena and his team. Although the identity of the player has not yet been revealed, Arena noted that this individual had been on their radar for “probably 18 months”. Arena also added that he was confident he and the club could sign the individual “within the next week or two”.

While the Revs have got off to a good start in 2021, there could be a position or two that Arena could look to improve on to give the Revs the best chance to lift their first MLS Cup in club history.
