Paramount Hires Jenny Tartikoff as Studio’s New Head of Corporate Communications – Deadline

Paramount has formalized what has been seething in the city since Sunday and it is the former general vice president of global communications of Universal, Jenny Tartikoff, who takes the reigns as the new general vice president of global communications of Melrose Ave. . following the promotion of Brian Robbins to CEO of the studio. Tartikoff begins November 15 and will report directly to Robbins.

She holds the Corp Comms executive role left by Chris Petrikin, who left Paramount Pictures as chief spokesperson following Jim Gianopulos’ departure as studio CEO in early September. Tartikoff will oversee all of the studio’s corporate communications strategies, including media relations, executive and internal communications, and corporate social responsibility.

Tartikoff before Paramount worked as Content and Advertising Communications Manager at Spotify. She arrived at Universal in 2016 from Rubenstein in New York and started out as Senior Vice President, overseeing executive communications, managing filmmaker relations and guiding the studio’s day-to-day strategy.

At Rubenstein, Tartikoff was SVP and worked on accounts such as Paramount Pictures, HBO, The New York Post, and Sony Corp. of America. As a senior strategist, she has over 20 years to her credit, handling everything from executive profiles to other complex announcements.

Earlier in her career, she spent over six years working for NBC News Communications as a spokesperson for Meet the press, Date line, Tom Brokaw Reports, Peacock Productions, and prime-time news specials.

Tartikoff started as a press officer at CBS News, overseeing communications for The first show with Bryant Gumbel. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in psychology.
