Dior promotes Olivier Bialobos, communications manager – WWD

In order to better coordinate his fashion and beauty activities, Olivier Bialobos has been appointed director of communication and image of One Dior, learns WWD.

Bialobos was previously Director of Communications and Image of Dior Couture, and he will continue in this role, reporting to Pietro Beccari, Managing Director of Christian Dior Couture.

For the activities of Parfums Christian Dior, he will report to Laurent Kleitman, Managing Director of Parfums Christian Dior.

According to an internal announcement seen by WWD, “her mission, in close collaboration with Claudia Marcocci, Managing Director of the Parfums Christian Dior brand, will be to contribute to continuing and amplifying the work of coherence of communication and raising of the image already largely initiated between the beauty and couture divisions, and to ensure perfect cooperation between our two houses.

The enlargement of its scope will also contribute to “further promote the Dior brand worldwide and within the framework of the work already underway to strengthen the image of One Dior”.

Bialobos joined Dior in 2006 to lead the brand’s global communication effort, leading the house through multiple creative changes and creating Dior Héritage, the archives that have allowed him to mount several exhibitions around the world.

For example, “Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams” is on display at the Brooklyn Museum in New York after stops in London, Shanghai and Chengdu, China.

A popular and dapper figure of the French fashion scene, Bialobos began his career in communication at Escada, before becoming director of the KCD agency in Paris and leading the fashion and beauty communication strategy of Yves Saint Laurent in Paris. alongside Tom Ford. He then became director of press and international public relations at YSL, his last position before joining Dior.
